Check 21 regulations permit banks to use digital imaging to process checks electronically. Check 21 optical scanning is already in wide use. Conventional security features do not survive these scanning processes. Our new Scan Resident Image Security™ (SRIS™) is designed to survive all banking industry scanning, leaving a custom "fingerprint" that verifies the electronic image as authentic. This is the only security feature that will transfer to both electronic or paper image replacement documents.

In addition to our state-of-the-art-copy and alteration resistant security features, all CopyCant™ checks contain two or more SRIS™ images in the check background area. CopyCant checks provide maximum protection in both the conventional and Check 21 processing environments.
